The Rosary
Michelangelo's "The Final Judgement" in the Sistine Chapel, depicting souls being pulled up into heaven by an angel with a rosary. Our lady asks us to pray a daily rosary, may this be a reminder of her simple request.
Our Lady Queen of Heaven, pray for us. J-M
Thank you, that is a great reminder of how we can save not only our souls, and the souls of family/friends through our prayers, but the Holy, Poor souls of purgatory.
ReplyDeleteGod Bless you Becca, I loved your comments.
ReplyDeleteThink of this scene:
One is praying the Rosary with a group of others, be they family in you home, or say in church with other parishioners before Mass, etc. Now think of each one of our Rosarys being interconnected, and thereby not only helping each other to get to heaven, but also lifting up the Holy Souls as well.
We in the Church Militant not only hsve a duty to ourselves, but also to others both here and in the Church Sufferring, so that one day we may join the Church Triumphant.
